"United announce a 5 year plan"
Providing the club had enough support they intended to run an Under 18 side in the Enfield & District Youth League.  There were only 2 cautions throughout the season.  Dennis Cordell spoke to the press about United's five year plan.  Plans were drawn up for a mini stadium at Town Mead with covered accommodation for 500 spectators.  Plans also included a sports hall.  In return for donations links were hoped to be made with Beechfield Youth in return for players too old for the Under 16 team.  Over 200 turned up at the Annual Dinner & Dance at the Town Hall.  Dennis said "Everyone in the club from the committee down to the newest member is striving to put Waltham Abbey United Football Club on the map"
